What Is True Religious Freedom?

Archbishop Charles Chaput: What Is True Religious Freedom? By Joan Frawley Desmond, 03/18/2015 | NCR

I am afraid that this article has failed to articulate what True Religious Freedom is. It is:

The oath the LORD our God swore to our Father Abraham: to set us free from the hands of our enemies, free to worship him – in Spirit and in Truth [cf. Jn 4:23-24 (RSVCE)] – without fear, holy and righteous in his sight all the days of our life. – cf. Canticle of Zechariah. [see also Benedictus | Canticles | liturgies.net].

*
It is not:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof[.]

*
This comment should … manifest the error of U.S. Constitution – Amendment 1.
*
The action required of the State in True Freedom of Religion is to foster [and not hinder] the Catholic Faith and to allow all her citizens free access to it.
