The Fate of Nations Forgetful of God
Psalm 9 Revised Standard Version Catholic Edition (RSVCE)
God’s Power and Justice
To the choirmaster: according to Muthlabben. A Psalm of David.
15 The nations have sunk in the pit which they made; in the net which they hid has their own foot been caught.16 The Lord has made himself known, he has executed judgment; the wicked are snared in the work of their own hands. Higgaion. Selah
17 The wicked shall depart to Sheol, all the nations that forget God.
18 For the needy shall not always be forgotten, and the hope of the poor shall not perish for ever.
19 Arise, O Lord! Let not man prevail; let the nations be judged before thee! 20 Put them in fear, O Lord! Let the nations know that they are but men! Selah

We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.
R. Amen.

An example to us Pope Francis? May we do the same this Lent. May G_d always bless you. You have the grace of the Office.
PSALM 2
This messianic psalm should inspire us with courage to persevere in spite of attacks of the devil against the kingdom of God on earth. It also reminds us that our hope comes from our being children of God. | Handbook of Prayers | Rev. James Socias, Publisher | MTF

God’s Power and JusticeTo the choirmaster: according to Muthlabben. A Psalm of David. 9 I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart; 3 When my enemies turned back, 5 Thou hast rebuked the nations, thou hast destroyed the wicked; 7 But the Lord sits enthroned for ever, 9 The Lord is a stronghold for the oppressed, 11 Sing praises to the Lord, who dwells in Zion! 13 Be gracious to me, O Lord! |
14 that I may recount all thy praises, 15 The nations have sunk in the pit which they made; 17 The wicked shall depart to Sheol, 18 For the needy shall not always be forgotten, 19 Arise, O Lord! Let not man prevail;

Revised Standard Version Catholic Edition (RSVCE) Prayer for Deliverance from Enemies10 Why dost thou stand afar off, O Lord? 3 For the wicked boasts of the desires of his heart, 5 His ways prosper at all times; 7 His mouth is filled with cursing and deceit and oppression; His eyes stealthily watch for the hapless, 10 The hapless is crushed, sinks down, 12 Arise, O Lord; O God, lift up thy hand; |
14 Thou dost see; yea, thou dost note trouble and vexation, 15 Break thou the arm of the wicked and evildoer; 17 O Lord, thou wilt hear the desire of the meek;

V. Let us pray for our Sovereign Pontiff Francis
R. The LORD preserve him and give him life, and make him blessed upon earth, and deliver him not to the will of his enemies.
cf. Handbook of Prayers, Rev. James Socias, Publisher.
This was my prayer posted on this blog on March 15, 2013.
Hello, is anyone out there?
Can anyone answer me?
Will the media ask the Pope?
Among the Prelates: any St, Paul?
I would be grateful to know: how will the LORD answer this prayer should the Pope set himself up as the LORD’s enemy?
Who can deliver anyone from the hand of the LORD?
Those with wisdom, please answer!
